White tigers are a product of cruel captive breeding practices and countless animals come out too deformed and sick to even make it- many end up in crowded shelters with severe health problems and special needs. Breeding white tigers must be abolished. Don’t support any zoos or shows displaying white tigers.

White tigers rarely occur in nature. While very rare and small functional populations did exist in the past, white tigers experience difficulty hunting as their camouflage has been compromised. This is why only small populations ever existed.

There is also a small population of  white lions that exists in the wild, but their numbers remain extremely small for the same reason- their camouflage is not as effective.

The vast majority of white tigers are the product of irresponsible and cruel inbreeding and any facility or organization enabling this must still be boycotted until an international ban is enacted.

Just like almost all the lion breeding by zoos dedicated to conservation is devoted to breeding standard pigmented healthy lions, only a tiny subset of breeding programs should be devoted to maintaining a healthy white tiger population.

Because the fact remains, only a very small natural population of these tigers ever existed- because their camouflage is indeed not as effective as the pigmented variety.
