The world’s LARGEST wildlife bridge is now fully funded and is being built near Los Angeles. It will save the southern mountain lion population from extinction and help heal the entire ecosystem
The bridge itself is nearly an entire acre. It will be planted with native flora that will attract pollinators like bees, bats, and butterflies. Mountain lions, coyotes, bobcats, rabbits, snakes, and toads will use the bridge. And also Wolves who will finally be able to move back into the Santa Monica Mountain wilderness!

Southern Californians really love their wildlife; P22, the resident cougar who lives in Griffith Park in the canyons above Los Angeles is as famous as a beloved movie star. P22 is super reclusive but a wildlife cam managed to get this picture of him under the Hollywood Sign. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2022/feb/13/los-angeles-mountain-lion-griffith-park
